Born February 10, 1939 in Den Haag, Holland, she was the daughter of the late Gerrit and Alida (Van de Koppel) Romberg. She immigrated from Holland to America in 1957, with her parents and brothers. Eventually settling in the Joliet area, Beatrix became a home caregiver to many local residents for many years.

Surviving are her two sons, Leonard (Lori) Wruk and Craig (Michelle) Wruk; her grandchildren, Joseph Wruk, Emily (Blake) Pinto, Zachary (Susannah) Wruk, and Matthew Wruk; four great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin and Denise Romberg; and dear friends, Jim Morrical and Jean Skoien.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Rudy, Fred and Jack.
Bea’s family would like to send our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Jim Morrical for all the years of friendship and care he gave Bea with love and dedication. Also we would like to thank Jean Skoien for her friendship and help with Bea.
