Obituary of Richard Henry Hucksold

Richard Henry Hucksold, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Shorewood on Thursday, January 30, 2025.  Richard was born in Evergreen Park, IL on June 16, 1945 to the late Henry and Margorie (nee Rinkash) Hucksold. Richard served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he worked for over 30 years for Illinois Bell.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Madeleine; 8 children; and 9 grandchildren.

Richard was laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, where he received full military honors from the United States Army and the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Honor Guard.
