Anne Louise Clennon

 

Anne Louise Clennon, passed away on February 2, 2025, at Willow Falls, Crest Hill, IL.  Anne was the daughter of Raymond Clennon and Anne I. (nee Brannick) Clennon, born in Morris, IL, on August 12, 1935. She grew up on the family farm near Minooka and attended Dresden Hill School. After graduating from St. Francis Academy in 1953, she earned her nursing cap at St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing and later received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Francis College. Anne was a highly regarded surgical nurse for over 40 years, working first at St. Joseph Hospital and later at Family Medical Group.

 

Anne is survived by her sister, Sister Jeanne Clennon, CSC; two brothers, Rev. Raymond Clennon, O.Carm., and Paul (Barbara) Clennon; a nephew, Michael Clennon; three nieces, Julie (Gonzalo) Vasquez-Clennon, Erin (Matthew) Brown, and Megan (Corey) White; and numerous grand-nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, PFC Edward F. Clennon; and her sister, Sister Mary Clennon, CSC.

 

A Celebration of Life for Anne Louise Clennon will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at St. Mary's Church, Minooka, IL.  Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Minooka, IL.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
