


Obituary of Thomas James Kohl, Jr.
Age 76, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and formerly Oak Park, IL, passed from this life Friday, February 21, 2025, at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center.
Tom was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 17, 1948, to the late Mary Katherine (Mullane) and Thomas James Kohl, Sr.
As a U.S. Navy Veteran, Tom served his country proudly.
Tom retired after a rewarding career as a purchasing agent for a major water filtration company.
Surviving are, Jane Dove, his longtime companion; son, Matthew Kohl; and his siblings, Elizabeth (late John) Kwiatkowski, Virginia (Blase) Markun, Richard (Sheri) and Mary Frances (Edward) Hiller. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Military honors and committal prayers will take place prior to interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL, on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm. All those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the Cemetery Information Center at 12:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
