I was sorry to read Laddie's obituary in today's Joliet Herald News. It caught my eye because my own father died of ALS in 1987. He was Joseph Talarico and was only 57. I saw Laddie was a young man too. He sounded like a special man. My dad was too. My parents had 13 children. He was a very community minded friend to a lot of people.
