


Obituary of Donald L. Confiliano
Donald L. Confiliano passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Donald was born on February 4, 1943, the son of the late Dominic and LaVerne (nee Guardia) Confiliano. Born and raised in Joliet, Donald graduated from Joliet Catholic High and then graduated from Lewis University.
Donald retired from Lucent Technologies after 40 years of dedicated service. After retirement, he worked for Will County filling many roles. He loved to collect anything he could get his hands on. He was a true family man, enjoying the time they all spent together. Donald made friends wherever he went, and would do anything for anybody.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lynn; children, Donald (Carol) Confiliano, Daniel (Shannon) Confiliano, and Amy (Mike) Hogan; grandchildren, Madeline and Noah Confiliano, Crista (Nick Bernico) Confiliano, Gina (Mark) Wojak, Corporal Nicolas Confiliano, USMC, Zoe, Christopher , and Emily Hogan; sister, Carol Ward; brother, Jim Confiliano; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Morse.
Visitation for Donald L. Confiliano will be Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2:00p.m. until services begin at 4:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd), Joliet. As it was his request, cremation rites will be accorded following services.
