Obituary of Michael Christian Pearson

Age 72, of Aurora, IL and formerly of Villa Park, IL, passed from this life Monday morning, April 21, 2025.

He was born in Salem, Oregon, on August 23, 1952.  As a child, he moved with his family to Villa Park, Illinois, where he was raised and educated. 

Michael served his country proudly as a Marine and was honorably discharged as a Corporal in 1974.

He is survived by his loving partner, Sheryl Rolff; devoted daughter, Courtney (Sean) Sullivan; and precious granddaughter, Adelyn. Mike is the brother of Carol Besterfield-Houlihan and Daniel "Robert" (Judy) Pearson.  He will also be missed by Sheryl's family, including Susan Rolff and Laura Ambrose. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Dolores and Ernest Pearson; and sister-in-law, Dianne Johnson.

All friends and relatives are invited to gather at 10:45 am on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL, where full Military Honors will be accorded at 11:00 a.m. followed by committal prayers and Interment.
