Judith A. Daniels, age 79, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at Lightways Hospice, Saturday, June 14, 2025. Judith was born on May 3, 1946, to adoring parents, Ted and Helen (nee Soland) Berkeci. Judith was born and raised in Joliet, and a graduate from Joliet Central High School.

Judith was a homemaker for most of her life while raising her children. During that time, she was able to master the perfect brownie recipe, which was requested for every social function she attended. Judith had a passion for cooking and baking for those she loved. It brought her joy to provide satisfied appetites, whether it was a warm home-cooked meal or delicious treat.

Judith is survived by her husband, Paul Michael Daniels; her children, Sherry (John) Bryant, Michelle Fitzhenry, and Chris Daniels; granddaughters, Kailey Fitzhenry and Samantha Meyers; great-granddaughters, Emma and Sophia Agron; siblings, Norma (Jim) Hensley, Charlie (the late Elaine) Bice; special cousin, Cathy (Don) Vetter; and her beloved dog, Buddy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and oldest son, Rick Meyers.

As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
