Obituary of Kenneth James Frank

Kenneth James Frank

Age 82, of Joliet and formerly Bolingbrook, Illinois, passed from this life on Sunday afternoon, June 22, 2025, at the Lightways Hospice Home of Joliet.

He was born October 31, 1942, to the late Dorothy and Raymond Frank in Chicago where he was raised and educated.

Ken was the beloved husband of 52 years to Sharon (Deneen) Frank; loving father of Kathy (Gary) Krakowski, Cheri (Scott) Muntwyler and the late Kenneth (Shelley Cesky) Frank; devoted grandfather of Gary (Tisha), Mike (Jessica), Casey (Emily), Nicky (Maura), Brian (Ashley), Corey (Allie), Nicole (Alex), Scott and Adam; proud great-grandpa of many great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are his sister, Pat Frank, and niece, Jennifer Anteliz as well as several other relatives.

Ken is preceded in death by his son and parents.

He retired after many years of dedicated service from the LaGrange Country Club.  His passions were found being with his family for celebrations, rebuilding cars with Kenny, racing when younger and spectating with a keen eye as he got older, surfing the web and following NHRA and NASCAR.

Visitation for Ken Frank will be Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd) Joliet.  As it was Ken's wish, cremation rites will be accorded following his visitation.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his name can be made to Lightways Hospice of Joliet.
