Obituary of Toni L. Lindstrom

Age 52, of Morris, Illinois, and formerly Minooka and Shorewood, passed from this life Sunday, June 22, 2025, after a courageous battle against cancer.

Toni was born September 18, 1972 to Pearl (nee Patty) and the late Robert Podnar in Crest Hill.  She attended local grade schools and graduated from Lockport Township High School. Toni earned an Associate Degree from Joliet Junior College and as a result, enjoyed a lengthy career as an educational paraprofessional at several area schools.

Toni is the beloved wife of 32 years to Chris Lindstrom; loving mother of Amber (Jack) Lundell and Haille (Ajitabh Mannal) Lindstrom; cherished daughter of Pearl Podnar; dear sister of Vickie (Paul) Plutz and Wendi (Scott) Gleim; fond aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father, Robert Podnar.

A Memorial Visitation for Toni will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt 6 (at Deerpath Dr) in Morris.  A service of remembrance will conclude the afternoon beginning at 4 p.m.

As it was Toni's wish, cremation rites have been accorded.
