Obituary of Jordan Cruz

Sunrise: 4/7/1987
Sunset: 6/30/2025

Jordan Cruz, 38, was born in Joliet, IL on April 7, 1987 to Margarita Hussein and Ricky Carr. He spent most of his life in Chicago. Jordan was a phenomenal father, relished son, an extraordinary brother, superb uncle. He was a very loyal, hard working man and always cared about his family. Jordan would love to blast some music and do a BBQ with family, always. He's all about family. Jordan would always find peace when he is with his family and friends.

Jordan was a free spirit brother who always protected and looked out for his siblings. Growing up, he would always check in on his siblings especially his sister, Maryam to show her that she can do whatever she can do just in a different way. He showed his love the best way by being loud.

“When someone loves loudly, with everything they have in them, the withholding of that loud love, even briefly, feels impossible to endure.”

Jordan is survived by his significant other, Kristine; his beautiful and bright kids, Gianna, Jordan, and Isabella;  his siblings, Kenny, Joseph, Marc, Ricky, Yetta, Maryam, and Nasiha; his nephew, Jacob; his mother, Margarita; his father, Ricky; and his step-father, Usama; his grandmother, Georgia; and grandfather, Charles.
