Obituary of Diane Pelc

Diane Pelc passed away on July 18, 2025, at her home in Morris, at the age of 68. She was born on August 8, 1956, in Melrose Park, IL, the daughter of the late John and Joan (nee Le Beau) Ufkes.

She loved horses, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and being a grandma.

Diane is survived by her sons, Dustin ( Michel) Pelc, and Drew (Rachel) Pelc; grandson, Benjamin Pelc; sister, Janice Allison; nieces, Denise Gibbons, Ashley Ufkes, Lisa Wendt and Dana Johnson  and great-nieces and great-nephews, Cameron, Nevaeh, McKenzie, Brad and Noah.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, John G. Ufkes, Roger Merfy, and Roger Ufkes; sisters, Carol Watson, Sharon Johnson, and Deborah Ufkes and nephew, Corey Gibbons.

Memorial visitation for Diane Pelc will be held on Wednesday , July 23, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 (at Deerpath Dr.),  Morris, IL, from 3:00  p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. Due to her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
