

Obituary of Barry Don Gallo
Barry Gallo, of Plainfield, IL, passed away on October 7, 2025. He was born on November 5, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois.
Barry served in the military and carried that same dedication into his working life. Outside of work, he found joy in the things he loved most—fishing, hunting, sharing meals, telling jokes, and spending time at Woodhaven Lakes with his family. He was known for his hard work, sense of humor, and appreciation for good food.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Gallo; his children, Dominic (Amanda) Gallo, Nicole Montmarquette, and Lea (Paul) Gal; his grandchildren, Anthony (Mariah) Gallo, Nina Gallo, Jack Gal, and Noah Gal, and great-grandchild Amaya Gallo.
Memorial services for Barry Gallo will be held at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. Joliet, IL, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
