My condolences to all who loved you and knew you and now experience your loss.
We look forward to seeing God and each other in heaven.
Today, October 29, we held a Memorial Mass in your parish of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Portland, Oregon. We had beautiful music, profound scripture readings and thoughtful words, and the Eucharist which you loved. This was followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. The reception had a "Polish Theme" to it, with some personal touches of your favorite foods. I think of the many ways you helped people and I am reminded of the following Biblical passage: "Blessed are those who have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them".
