Obituary of Patricia E. Kinney
Age 83, of Joliet, Illinois, passed from this life Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Lightways Hospice Home.
Patricia was born January 7, 1942 to the late Loretta (Galecki) and Einar Lind in Chicago.
Surviving are her daughter, Christine (Richard) Gentry; son, Joel Kinney; and daughter, Jackwlyn Kinney; as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Patricia was employed for many years as a hairstylist as well as a housekeeper. She was an associate of the third order of the Sisters of St. Francis of which she was very proud. She also enjoyed volunteering with the Joliet Franciscans over the years.
Visitation for Patricia will be Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a service of remembrance at 3:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd) in Joliet. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will take place privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Patricia's name can be made to the Sisters of St. Francis, 1433 Essington Rd., Joliet, IL 60431 or Lightways Hospice.
