Obituary of Virginia N. Kehring

Virginia N. Kehring, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at her home in Newark, IL.  She was born on January 27, 1956, in Elmhurst, IL, the daughter of the late Albert and Virginia (nee Schilingo) Prete.

She cherished country living, finding joy in watching birds, especially hummingbirds, and taking in the peaceful sunsets. Virginia loved cooking, and when she wasn’t in the kitchen, she was keeping her home immaculate. She had a creative spirit as she enjoyed crafting, and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, no matter the season they were having.

Virginia is survived by her loving husband, Keith; and her cherished son, Matthew.

Private family services will be held at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, IL.
