Obituary of Joyce M. Van Atta
Joyce M. Van Atta, 89, of Corvallis, MT, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, with her lifelong best friend, Rona Hughes, by her side.
Joyce lived a beautiful and full life, one that honored her family and her own spirit. She fulfilled her father’s dreams by making her home in Montana, a place she truly loved. She was a woman of many talents and interests, well-known for her incredible sewing, her love for music, and her passion for the outdoors.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and the many friends who became family throughout her life.
Joyce will be laid to rest with her parents on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Seneca, IL.
