Obituary of Edwin T. Grant

Edwin T. “Eddie” Grant, age 64, of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Avantara of Joliet.

He was born on October 27, 1961, in Joliet to George Edwin and Mary Jane (Comerford) Grant. Eddie loved to cook and he enjoyed motorcycles.

Eddie is survived by his siblings, Cheryl (Frank) Haglund and Loka (Steve) Reyes; nephews, Greg (Lisa) Haglund, Mark Haglund, Ruben (Cynthia) Camacho, Rory (Erika) Camacho, and Douglas (Diana) Camacho; great nieces and nephews, Maya Haglund, Noah Haglund, Haidyn Haglund, Emerson Haglund, Teagan Haglund, Ally Camacho, Abby Camacho, Syd Camacho, Vincent Camacho, and Oliva Camacho; and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Cristina Camacho.
