Troy D. Finley

Age 91, of Seneca and formerly Downers Grove and Hickory Hills, IL, passed peacefully, Wednesday evening, February 25, 2026. He was born on September 6, 1934 in Cave in Rock, IL to the late Lucy (Tadlock) and Oscar Finley.  Troy was raised in the Chicagoland area and served his Country proudly in the US Army. 

He is the beloved husband of nearly 65 years to Karolee M. Finley; loving father of the late Michael (Jewel) Sinople and Mark (Kathi) Finley; devoted grandfather of Lily, Austin, Tony and Mike; proud great-grandpa of Jaxson, Michael, Romeo and Eleana; dear brother in-law of Esther Finley; fond uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Troy retired from Local 134 after serving as an electrician for 35 years.

Visitation Tuesday March 3, 2026 from 3-7 pm at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt 6 (at Deerpath Dr) in Morris, IL.  Funeral services will be Wednesday 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Entombment Wednesday 12:30 pm at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Please meet inside the Wolf Rd entrance of the cemetery at 12:25 p.m.
