Elsie Mae Hanna "Toots" (nee Baltz) Age 88. Passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born October 23, 1926 in Troy Township, she was a lifetime Joliet area resident. Preceded in death by her husband, Mark (1990); her parents, John L. and Irene (nee Garlic) Baltz; her step-mother, Elsie Page Baltz; and two brothers, Harlow and Donald Baltz. Beloved mother of Marlene (William) Greiner; loving grandmother of Stacy Connelly and Lisa (Dr. Brian) Winkleman; proud great-grandmother of Quinn and Campbell Connelly; Hanna and A.J. Winkleman; dear sister of Lt. Col. Katherine Hayes; aunt to several nieces and nephews. Toots was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Cantigny Post #367, the Joliet Elks Lodge #296 and the Women of the Moose Chapter #84. All friends and relatives are invited to gather on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 710 N. Marion Street, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow in St. John Cemetery.
