Obituary of William Forneris

William L. Forneris, Jr. "Bill" "BJ" Age 60. Suddenly, Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Sebastian, FL. Born in Joliet, he was a lifelong resident. Graduate of Joliet West High School Class of 1973. Member of Teamsters Union Local #179. He was currently employed by P.T. Ferro Construction Company. Member of the Dale A.C. in Rockdale. An avid boater, he enjoyed spending time at his homes in Tustin, WI and Sebastian, FL. Surviving are his son, Michael (Carly) Forneris of Joliet; two grandchildren, Madisynne Gura and Masen Forneris; his mother, Joanne (nee Vertin) Sovich of Joliet; his father, William (Lorraine) Forneris, Sr. of Rockdale; four brothers, Matthew (Christine) Forneris of Joliet, Edward (Jan) Forneris of Shorewood, Richard (Sheila) Forneris of Austin, TX and Steve (Andrea) Forneris of Crest Hill; his former wife, Darlene Gura of Joliet; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his stepfather, Martin J. Sovich (1982). Funeral Services for Bill L. Forneris will be Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Plainfield.
