Obituary of Kathryn Reeves

Kathryn I. Reeves (nee Shewmake) Age 96. At rest Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Benton, IL residing in Joliet most of her life. Formerly employed by the American Greeting Card Company and the East Side Knights of Columbus Council #4400. Survived by five children, Eugene (late Juanita) Balavender of Romeoville, Patricia Balavender, the late Joan Manning, Terry Reeves of Joliet and Ronald (Kathy) Reeves; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded by her parents; and several brothers and sisters. Visitation for Kathryn I. Reeves will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. As it was Kathryn's request, Cremation Rites will be accorded following visitation.
