Obituary of Linda Gonciarz

Linda J. Gonciarz (nee Gillis) Age 65. Suddenly Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Chicago to the late Henry and Genevieve (nee Shourek) Gillis, residing in the Joliet area since 1990. Member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Joliet Elks Lodge #296. Survived are her loving husband of 29 years, Frank J. Gonciarz of Joliet; three children, Jenny (Mike) Darcy of Tinley Park, Steven (Yolanda) Walsh of Pasadena, TX and Bryan (Sheri) Walsh of LaGrange, TX; two stepsons, Mark Gonciarz and Michael Gonciarz, both of Chicago; 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Pat (Chuck) Hendrix of Greenfield, TN and Donna Lee of MO; her brother, Harry Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters. Funeral Services for Linda J. Gonciarz will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
