Obituary of Ricky Linder

Ricky Dale Linder "Rick" "Rocko" Age 61, of Morris, IL passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at home after a valiant battle against lung cancer. Born August 14, 1953 in Morrison, IL to Georgia Ruth Kaufmann and the late Carroll Linder. Survived by his beloved wife, Patricia "Patty" (nee Rednour) Linder; loving father of, Bobbi Jean ( Aaron) Arias, Donald Linder, Steven (Rachelle) Linder, Matthew Linder, Eric Linder (Ashley), Nicole Linder (Brandon); Joette Howe and Danelle Hannan (Brad); proud grandfather of Theresa, Stephanie, Tyler; Patience, Jocelyn; Layla, Aleah, Xyla; Liam; Angel, Tristan and Johnny; Trevor, Autumn and Amber; great-grandfather of Sophie; cherished son of Georgia (Robert) Null; dear brother of Andrew (Katie) Linder and Debbie (late Michael) Thomas and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his father; grandson, Tyson; sister, Pam; brother, Michael and one nephew. Rick was employed for 29 years at Lyondell Chemical Co. in Morris. He was an avid fisherman who loved his Scratch-offs. His favorite place was at home with his family. Visitation for Ricky Dale Linder will be Sunday July 19, 2015 from 2 p.m. until funeral services begins at 5 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris. As it was Rick's wish, cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Graveside services with Interment of Ashes will take place Tuesday July 21, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery in Camanche, Iowa. For information (815) 942-5040.
