Obituary of Janice Kandalec

Janice F. Kandalec (nee Freberg) Age 79. Passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center. Born in Chicago and a longtime Joliet and Channahon area resident. Preceded by her husband, Richard R. Kandalec (1995); one sister, Joyce Mausehund; and her beloved sister-in-law, Annabelle Freberg. Survived by two daughters, Debora Heath of Bowden, ND and Kathleen Nesser of Channahon, IL; two sons, John (Pat) of Mesa, AZ and Richard Kandalec, Jr. of Channahon; three grandchildren, Kristy, Andrew and Kelly; three great-grandchildren, Tony, Bethany and Patrick; one brother, John "Whitey" Freberg of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the care she received from Rosewood Care Center and Joliet Area Community Hospice. Their tender touch will never be forgotten. Private funeral services will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. As it was Janice's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation.
