Obituary of Ann Podlasinski

Ann R. Podlasinski (nee Sikorski) Age 89. Late of Morris, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehab Center. Born January 2, 1926 to the late Stanislaw and Stanislawa (nee Figiel) Sikorski. A long time resident of South Chicago. Survived by her children, Ronald and Bridget Podlasinski. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry of over 52 years; sisters, Irene, Alicia and Bernadine; brothers, James, Bernard; half brother, Frank and Vincent and half sister, Marie. Ann was well known for preparing her Polish and American cuisine as well as baking wedding and doll cakes. She often volunteered at the local parish grammar school while her children attended there. Funeral services for Ann R. Podlasinski will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10:00 am. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 (at Deerpath Drive), Morris to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 E. Jackson Street, Morris. For a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Ed Howe officiating.
