Obituary of Edward Laurence

Edward Michael Laurence Edward M. Laurence, age 69, of Shorewood, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his loving family by his side. Born October 18, 1946 in Chicago to the late Joseph and Helen (Businskis) Laurence, he was a graduate of Leo Catholic High School. Employed with National Casein Company where he served as a purchasing agent for more than 40 years. Surviving are his beloved wife of 19 years, Nina-Lee (MacConnell) Laurence of Shorewood; his children, Mark Laurence of New Lenox, Matthew (Gladys) Laurence of Singapore, Todd Gemskie (Julie Pavisich) of Woodridge, Kelly (Mike) Boyle of Naperville, Darcy (Eric) Schreiner of Manchester, MI, Tom Laurence of Huntly, Joe (Dorothy) Laurence of Chicago and Joan (Steve) Chontos of Prescott, AZ; and his grandchildren, AJ & Naomi Laurence, Cassidy and Ryan Boyle, and Zoey, Joshua and Ainsely Schreiner. A Memorial Visitation for Edward M. Laurence will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.
