Obituary of Richard Abrant

Richard Abrant Age 83, of Morris,IL and formerly Merrionette Park, IL passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Regency Care of Morris. Loving father of the late Diane Sobon, Irene (James) Moran of Morris and Thomas (Lynn) Abrant of Marseilles. Dearest grandfather of Christopher Abrant, Tom Sobon, Jenny Sobon, Kelly Roche and Jason (Michelle) Maracic. Richard was also a proud great grandfather and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn Abrant (2015) daughter Diane, his parents. Funeral services for Richard Abrant will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Route 6 (at Deerpath Drive) Morris, IL. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL. Visitation Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
