Obituary of Clarita Guajardo

Clarita Guajardo "Clara" and "Claire" Age 54, a resident of Shorewood, entered eternal life on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center due to a longterm illness. Born November 1, 1961 in Joliet to Willie and Celia Guajardo. A graduate of Joliet Central High School, Class of 1979. Employed at Argonne National Laboratory for many years, Walmart in Shorewood and Kohl's. She loved baking, planting, playing Bingo, going to the movies, shopping at Van Maur and Kohl's and traveling. Survived by the love of her life, Jack Pawchak; children Janie and Eric; granddaughter, Isabel "Honey"; her precious cat, Emmit; parents, Willie and Celia Guajardo; her twin sister, Camelia "Kim" (John) Mares; siblings, Velia "Lee" (Willie) Lara, Rachel Warning, Jaime (Rosie) Guajardo, Alicia "Lizzy" Stogsdill; BFF, Sylvia Esquival; 13 nieces and nephews, Billy, Blanca, Melissa Lara, Jaime Jr., Jennifer "Jenna", Michelle Guajardo, Greg, Andrea Warning, Daniel Guajardo, John, Alex Mares, Amanda and Brett Stogsdill; and great-nieces and great-nephews, David Jr., Sebastian, Makayla, Elayna, Madisyn, Maxwell, Gabriel, Elijah and Jayla Jane. Preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Jane Rodriguez; brothers, Reynaldo "Rey" and Antonio Guajardo; grandmother, Juanita Loredo; uncle Locardio "uncle Tio" Limon; and her K-9's, Ginger and Gizmo. Funeral Services for Clarita Guajardo will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church, 14610 S. Will Cook Road, Homer Glen, IL 60491 where she will Lie-in-State from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
