Obituary of Salvador B Ramirez

Salvador B. Ramirez Age 67, of Plainfield, IL, died peacefully at home Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was born March 13, 1949 to the late Elena P. (nee Barba) and Jose S. Ramirez in Jalisco, Mexico. Beloved husband of 45 years to Maria (nee Pacheco) Ramirez; loving father of Jose (Angelica) Ramirez, Alicia (Enrique) Espinoza and Patricia (Braulio) Rodriguez; devoted grandfather of Cristal, Angelica, Karolyn, Emily and Anthony; Jasmine and Sergio; Marco, Dililah and Alex Salvador; proud great-grandpa of Jazaline, Sophia, Isabella and Dalina; dear brother of Jose, Lupe, Maria, the late Margarita, Felipe, Eleno anf Refugio "Cuco". Many nieces and nephews also survive, including Rafael who was like a son to him. Salvador retired from Scholle I.P.N. after 31 years of dedicated service. His hobbies included gardening and fishing however, his favorite way to spend free time was being around his family. Funeral services for Salvador Ramirez will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Division St. (Rt. 59) Plainfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery.
