Obituary of Lucille Harriet Pelton

Age 101, of Shorewood formerly of Lisbon and Joliet, passed away September 15, 2016 at Alden Estates of Shorewood. Born October 6, 1914 in Joliet to the late Elizabeth (nee Hesserick) and Frank J. Limbach, she was a long time resident until moving to Lisbon in 1989. Lucille enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and the slot machines. Loving mother of Robert F. (Carol Jean) Pelton, William A. (Cindy) Pelton, and Suzanne E. Kenney; dearest grandmother of 17; fond great-grandmother of 29; and proud great-great-grandmother of three; several generations of nieces and nephews also survive. Preceeded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years Robert F. (2002); daughter Patricia Callahan; son-in-law Charles Kenney; great-grandaughter Nicole Pelton; her twin sister Leona Limbach and Madeline Limbach; and brothers, Henry, Peter, Francis, and Anthony Limbach. Lucille attended Sacred Heart Grade School, and was a life long member of Sacred Heart Parish. She graduated from Providence Catholic High School in 1932. She was employed for several years at the American Institute of Laundry; and was a member of the Women's League of the Irving A.C. Funeral Services for Lucille H. Pelton will be Monday, September 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. from Fred C. Dames funeral home 3200 Black at Essington Rds to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 337 S Ottawa St, Joliet, IL 60436 would be appreciated.
