Obituary of Cynthia Olson

Cynthia Olson (nee Wilson) "Cindy" Age 75. At rest on October 28, 2016 at her home peacefully surrounded by he loving family. Born in Chicago, IL on July 2, 1941 to William George and Dora Louise (nee Murphy) Wilson. Cindy was a Special Ed Teacher with School District 70C, retiring in 2010. Cindy's many cherished hobbies included painting, computers, collecting and making porcelain dolls, sewing, quilting, knitting, and video games. She was the proud author of four books, titled: Tawanna Underground, Cherise's Christmas Wish, Kiera's Cry, and Elaine In Tangles. Survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard B. Olson; one son, Devin (Emily) Olson; one brother, Dr. Donald (Lois) Wilson; one sister, Eleanor (Subhash) Paul; and was the aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends are invited to meet at Faith Lutheran Church, 353 N Midland Ave, Joliet, IL 60435 on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Faith Lutheran Church, Susan G.
