Obituary of Erno Balogh

Erno Balogh Age 80, at rest Monday, November 28, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Nagykanizsa, Hungary on July 23, 1936. He received the Golden Gloves as a professional boxer. His favorite Hungarian boxer was László Papp. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mildred "Mimi" L. (nee Goles); his daughter, Maria (Gary) McElhone and son Erno John Balogh; and three grandsons, Dennis James, Patrick Jonathan and Brian Joseph McElhone. "Tomorrow is not promised, but today does not seem enough" (Maria McElhone). Funeral Services for Erno Balogh will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL. Interment Plainfield Township Cemetery. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday 3-8 p.m..
