Obituary of Milan R. Lizalek

Milan R. Lizalek "Mike" Age 82. At rest peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, with his loving family at his side. Born in Czechoslovakia on February 11, 1935 to Jaroslav and Andela (nee Knapkova). Mike worked for Brach's Candy as an electrician from 1962 -1977, retired from General Motors in 1998 with 14 years of service. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, deer hunting and pheasant hunting. Survived by his loving wife of 59 1/2 yrs, Maria A. (nee Mazzonetto); two children, Anna Lizalek and Jerry (Janet) Lizalek; two grandsons, Jason and Justin Lizalek. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jaroslava Lizalek. Funeral Services for Milan "Mike" Lizalek will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. to Minooka United Methodist Church, 205 West Church Street, Minooka for services at 10:00 a.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following the mass.
