Age 68, of Plainfield, IL passed away peacefully, Monday July 3, 2017.  She was born December 3, 1948 in Oak Park, IL to the late Lonita (Pytlik) and Joseph Stapleton.  Margaret was raised in Berwyn, IL and was a graduate of Siena High School in Chicago.

She was the beloved mother of Michelle (Spiro) Janetis; loving grandmother of Alexandra, Melanie and Nicholas Janetis.  Also surviving are two brothers, Robert (Patti) Stapleton and William Stapleton; three sisters, Patti Zidlicky, Susan (Dale) Priban and Kathleen Stapleton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was employed by Alberto Culver Co. of Melrose Park, IL where she faithfully worked for 37 years only retiring due to health issues.  Her hobbies included painting, drawing and crocheting, although her true passion was being an adoring grandmother to her three grandchildren.

As it was Margaret’s wish, cremation rites have been accorded and her final earthly remains have been interred at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Lung Association would be appreciated.  For information please call (815) 741-5500 or visit her Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
