They say that life gets easier with time. They lied. My heart still aches for you. I have carried on but I think of you daily. I talk as if you are still here and when I realize your not, my heart truly hurts. I miss you more than life. I miss the fun times, the good times, the little boy who grew up to be a wonderful father and husband and a wonderful son. I read your cards often. I have the letter you wrote me on my dresser. I didn't forget the tough times you experienced. I just choose to ignore them. I love you my son, and I pray it's true and that we will see each other again. All my love to you, all my life.

Another holiday season approaching without you here with us. Still think of you at least once a day and our hearts still ache without you. My sincere condolences to the family. Jon was a very good friend to me in my teenage and early twenties then lost touch but remained friends on Facebook. I still can't believe that you are no longer with us. It broke my heart when I heard the news of your passing. You will be missed and loved by many including myself. I am so very sorry to hear of this loss. I knew Jon since 7th grade. As you know, he was a great person. On my first day of seventh grade I walked into class late and the only open seat was next to him. He could tell I was very nervous. He leaned over to me and told me it was ok. That didn't help one bit. He then proceeded to talk like Donald duck until I smiled. Then he kept going until I was laughing so hard we both got in trouble. That's the person I remember and love.

I'm still in shock. We went from being "rink rat" friends to growing up & losing touch. I believe it was close to 10 years before we saw each other again and I'll never forget it. I was working Home Depot and there you were buying supplies on your way out and I called out, " Johan "(Yohan). You stopped dead in your tracks, laughed, said it must be Lainee, turned around & gave me a big hug hello!! When I asked you how'd you guess, you said I was the only person who called you by that name....lol! We may not have been close friends but the rink has bonded all of us "rink rats" with fun times & great memories! You will be missed my friend <3. Sending love & prayers to your beautiful family <3

My husband, my love, my life, you will be missed more than words can say. Your girls are missing you with all of their hearts. We miss your silliness, your hugs, our talks and just your presence. How do you express pain in your heart for a grandson taken so fast? My heart is overwhelmed with emotions. All I can remember was of him 2 days before he passed, he was in the kitchen showing his mom his swollen hands. He walked behind me on his way out, touched my shoulder and kissed me on top of my head....truly he left a void in our hearts that will never go away. I will go on and Jon will be beside me always. My partner in crime and as we laugh Jon we will be singing "MY WAY".....love you johnny boy....
