Delbert J. McKittrick
“Jesse”
Age 84, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at his home. Born in Ottumwa, IA, he was the son of the late William and Bessie (nee Clausen) McKittrick. Retired from the Operating Engineers Union as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Jesse was an accomplished handyman.
Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Wilma (nee Etheridge) McKittrick of Channahon; his five children, Clifford McKittrick of Joliet, William (Ronda) McKittrick of Pontiac, Judy McKittrick of MN, Angela McKittrick of Spanish Fort, AL and Jerri Furlan of Channahon; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; his brother, Arthur McKittrick of Fort Smith, AR; and his sister, Geraldine McKittrick.
He was preceded by his daughter, Christine McKittrick (2016); son, Mickey McKittrick (2002); and sister, Golding Banning.
As it was Jesse’s request, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Fred C.
