Robert George Hogg

Age 42, suddenly, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident.  Robert was a graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy, Class of 1993, and Joliet Junior College, Class of 2016.  He was employed with Chicago Aerosol and proudly served in the U.S. Navy, discharged in 1995.

Robert is survived by his two daughters, Cailyn and Taylor Hogg; parents, George and Linda Hogg; sister, Michelle (Steve) Harrington; uncle to Kayla, Daniel and Matthew Harrington; maternal grandmother, Norma Goode; nephew of Craig (Jackie) Goode, Thomas (Janet) Goode, James (Debbie) Goode, John (Beverly) Goode, David (Elizabeth) Goode and Scott (Mia) Goode; special friend, Jodi Walker; and many cousins and great cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marion Hogg Clendennin and paternal grandfather Walter C. Goode, Jr.

Funeral services for Robert George Hogg will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.  Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where full military honors under the auspices of the United States Navy will be conducted.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to his daughters for their future education would be appreciated.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
