Obituary of Charles W. Holton

Charles W. Holton, cherished father, grandfather, brother, son, and husband unexpectedly passed from this life on Monday, January 1, 2024.

Chuck was born at LaGrange Memorial Hospital in LaGrange, Illinois on July 3, 1959. He grew up in Naperville and attended Wheaton-Warrenville High School. Following high school, Chuck's creativity, work ethic, and charismatic nature steered him to become an accomplished business owner. He cultivated a devoted following of customers who held him in high esteem and valued the genuine connection he fostered with each one of them. Chuck is cherished in the memories of all who knew him as an affable, warm-hearted, and deeply caring man, holding family at the core of his being. His affection for his loved ones was boundless and genuine, extending beyond his immediate family to embrace and care for all within his greatly wide circle. He wholeheartedly lived to serve those he loved. Devoted to both hard work and great enjoyment, Chuck lived out the idea of “work hard, play hard.” With an enthusiastic passion for loud music, fast cars, motorcycles, and jet skis, he embraced life with an unyielding fervor, treasuring each experience and all those dear to him. While he greatly enjoyed Scarlett’s chocolate cupcakes, having the kids over for sleepovers, and visiting his brother and mom, he most loved planning adventures and crafting grand schemes. From Disney escapades with his children and grandchildren to chasing the fading rays of the sun on jet skis with Scarlett, he made every moment count– big and small. As he would do for us, we will hold his memory close in our hearts, offer love and forgiveness, and live every moment with gratitude– until we meet again.

Loving son of Barbara Conrad (Tom Williams), and the late Charles W. Holton Sr.; brother of Michael (Kathleen) Holton, Sue (Richard) Haeflinger. Beloved husband of Scarlett Stone; devoted father to Nicole (Scott) Halvorsen, Dustin Holton, Samantha (David) DeRose , mother of his children Linda Williams;  adored G to Annabelle, Amelia, Lucy, August; known and loved as G to Grayson, Donni, Emmett, Elliot.
