Marie lived a life of profound faith and touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was born to the union of John and Mary (nee Bajt) Janes on May 14,1926.  Marie grew up in Joliet, IL where she developed the qualities that would define her character throughout her lifetime. Throughout her 97 years, Marie lived her life to the fullest while always demonstrating unwavering strength and resilience through the Lord. In her golden years she had a zeal for life and traveling that could not be matched.  Marie was a vivacious woman with a heart of gold.  She loved spending time with her loved ones and cherished the small things in life.  She attributed her longevity to always finding the time to move and appreciate what God had provided for her and her family. Marie leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Marie will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her beloved sons, James (Rebecca) Videtic and Gary Videtic; grandchildren to whom she was lovingly known as “Grandma Ree”, Brian (Allyson) Videtic, Dennis (Tina) Videtic, and Tara Videtic; siblings, John (Sharon) Janes, and Betty (Jack) Bush; her great grandchildren Dylan, Vaughn and Carlee Marie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
