Obituary of Mildred M. Stolte

Mildred M. "Millie" Stolte (nee Brown) Age 84, of Crest Hill, IL passed peacefully Wednesday, August 10, 2016. She was born June 24, 1932 in St. Louis, MO to the late Gussie (nee Cameron) and Emil Zinzel, she resided in the Darien and LaGrange area most of her adult life. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth; loving mother of Joy (Larry) Tyda and Mary (Joe) Ostarello; dearest grandmother of two and proud great-grandmother of seven. In addition to her husband and parents, her brother Homer Brown also precedes her in death. Millie was a fixture at the Knotty Pine Restaurant in LaGrange; she thoroughly enjoyed all the diners/friends she served over her 46 year career there. She will be remembered fondly as a wonderful homemaker and a great cook who enjoyed bowling. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet where visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Clarendon Hills Cemetery. For information (815) 741-5500
