My kids and I worked with John serving at Day break. He was a wonderful man! He always has kind words for everyone and a generous heart. He greeted us all by name at Sunday Mass. He was a genuine, sincere and joyful man. He will be very much missed and missed by many.

I was shocked on Sunday when I got to church at noon and learned of John's passing. I loved him and will surely miss him. To me he was someone who seemed immortal. He just always was. I don't remember when I didn't know him. He was very very kind to all of my children and me. God Bless you John and I hope your wife finds peace in knowing what a wonderful man you were. As a long time parishioner at St. Jude Parish, I just wanted to thank John for all he did for us over the years- and there was so much. 12 noon Mass this past Sunday had a big hole there by the door, where John always stood- we were in shock- and devastated, when we learned why John wasn't there. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us so many times over the years also.- A well earned Rest now in Peace, John- it was a privilege to know you. You will be greatly missed.
