The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements make it necessary for you to purchase any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Our fee for the services of the funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangements conference with family or responsible party; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notices; staff assistance prior to, during and following the funeral, including coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory and others. Also included in these charges are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory costs.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. Direct cremation
Our charge for direct cremation without any attendant rights or ceremonies, includes removal of remains (single director), local transportation to crematory, necessary services of the funeral director and staff and authorizations, with basic crematory fees included. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we
provide are fiberboard.

Casket and Outer Burial Container Price List

Funeral services that will require an outer burial container are those where the earthen burial will be in a cemetery that requires one. If the burial is at a cemetery that does not require an outer burial container, then you do not have to provide one. The cemetery requirement for an outer burial container was implemented to provide for
the structural integrity of the casket compartment indefinitely; and to prevent the
grave from settling over time.
Outer burial containers are constructed primarily of concrete for strength and durability. A burial vault is resistant to the entrance of outside elements. A burial vault may also have a liner or multiple liners constructed of plastics or semi-precious
metals to further retard the entrance of outside elements.

Donating a person’s final earthly remains for medical science study is a personal decision, usually derived from that person’s final wish. Selecting a disposition that would conclude that a person be donated to science does not prevent that family from having a traditional funeral service. Provided that the guidelines set forth by the Anatomical Gift Association are followed, a complete funeral service can in fact take place.
All can participate in the donation to medical science with three primary exceptions. No one under the age of (18) will be accepted by the Association. Anyone who dies of a specific communicable disease, is disfigured or has had an autopsy is not a candidate for donation. The Anatomical Gift Association reserves the right to deny the donation for any mitigating circumstance. Ask your funeral director to assist you in the acceptance process for the Anatomical Gift Association.
Following this precious gift for the advancement of medical studies, cremation rites will be accorded. The cremated remains can be returned to the family or scattered at the conclusion of the cremation rite.

Shelter of remains/Overnight care This charge per day applies to those remains awaiting cremation or embalming while permits, applications, authorizations, etc. are being processed by governmental agencies or requested family delay, or when remains (embalmed or unembalmed are in our care and require daily monitoring, refrigeration and/or ongoing preservation intervention.
Infant and Children Services

Generally, the embalming procedure is not done due to the underdeveloped circulatory system of the child, therefore, viewing is not recommended. We have found that a graveside service or cremation services are the most frequent type of service requested by families that have lost a child at this developmental stage.
Our professional services including making the arrangements, recording all vital statistics, making all necessary contacts which may include clergy, cemetery, newspaper, etc., as well as securing all permits and certificates.
All Transportation (Local) is done at no charge (local); including from place of death to the funeral home and from the funeral home to the cemetery.
Facilities and Staff Services: A graveside service plus casket or urn will be included for assisting in and being present for the graveside service will be done at a charge of $150.00 dollars plus casket, urn or any optional items.
If a family desires a traditional funeral service with a visitation or church service; our Standard General Price List will be in effect with 1/3 of the customary adult charge applying to stillborn or premature children.
Merchandise: Our infant caskets/cherubs range from $310.00 to $995.00. Burial vaults are usually not required at most cemeteries that have a designated area for infants.
**Several wood and protective steel caskets are also available.
**Some cemeteries that have a designated area for infant children do have certain requirements such as maximum casket dimensions and age limitations.
Optional Items: Such as register book, prayer cards, thank you cards and religious symbols are available at an additional cost. Other expenses such as newspaper notices, flowers, clergy and musician honoraria; and all cemetery and crematory expenses are additional and vary from provider to provider.

Memorial Presentation
These prices are effective as of January 9, 2020
This unique service allows a family to display “Precious Memories Photographs” on a television monitor in the chapel during the visitation. This technology allows all who attend, the ability to reminisce over the “Precious Memories Photographs” displayed in a dignified large scale format.
Please ask your funeral director for a demonstration.
Your funeral director will request that you number the back of your photographs in the order you want them to appear in the presentation if you want them in a special order; otherwise, a random order will be used. You must also remove photographs from photo albums and frames.
The photographs you provide will be scanned by our production specialist and returned to you in their original condition. At no time are your photographs cut or damaged in any way. The scanned photographs will then be placed in our unique memorial presentation computer program which provides a smooth transition between photos, and allows the entire memorial presentation to run continuously throughout the visitation.
The photographs and the technology to operate the presentation are placed on a DVD Laser etched and inscribed disk.
This service includes all scanning of photographs, computer programming, laser production of a photo timed code presentation on a DVD disk, and use of all electronic equipment necessary for the presentation.
With the selection of a Memorial Presentation Package your precious memory photographs will appear at fredcdames.com in movie format for 90 days or more following services. Your family and friends who may have been unable to attend services can now share those memories with you from any distance away.
