Dupage Medical Group Field is a baseball field located in Joliet, Illinois. The stadium was built in 2002 and holds 6,016 people. It is the home of the Joliet Slammers. Joliet, while appearing to be a suburb of Chicago (it is only about 30 miles away), is actually its own city with its own downtown. The jewel of the downtown area is Silver Cross Field. With its massive red brick exterior, the ballpark fits in quite well with its surroundings and is just a short walk from shops and restaurants. Entering the ballpark, fans must walk up a flight of stairs to get to the concourse which overlooks the field. Once inside, you'll find the pretty typical new ballpark design.
