King, Marvin A.
Age 81, of Piper City and a former longtime Joliet resident, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka.
Survived by his son and daughters, Helen (Delbert) Berrong of Braceville, Marvin "Allen" (Lydia) King of Las Vegas, NV, and Betty Jo (John) Vicich of Florida; grandchildren, Stacey (Richard) Swindells, Eric Berrong, Leane (Pat) Patterson, David Berrong: Aubrey; Jason, Matthew, Ryne and Lacey; great-grandchildren, Erica; Sophia, Jasmin and Savanah; Cassandra, Rachel, Jeffery and Alicia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mary; second wife, Doris; siblings and one son, James Russell King.
Marvin retired from Caterpillar Inc. after many years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, leatherworking and gardening.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 12, 2011, 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Monday 12 noon until the services begin at:
