Emma Jane Knowles (nee Burow) "Jane" Age 87. Passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Deerbrook Care Centre. Born in Rossville, IL on November 18, 1919 to Robert and Lucille (nee Songer) Burow. Preceded in death by her loving husband, William F. Knowles; her parents, sisters, Genevieve (Richard) White, Geraldine (Albert) Madison and Eleanor (Carl) Sulzer and one brother, Chuck (Lorraine) Burow. Survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Waddell; grandchildren, Christine (Dave) Hir, Tracey (Jonathan) Eitmontas, Mark Waddell and Stephanie (Don) Raddatz; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Madison, McKayla and Braden Hir; Isabella, Ashley and Caitlyn Eitmontas; Jack Waddell and Benjamin Raddatz; several nieces and nephews, including a very special niece and nephew, Barbara and Jerry Schoppe, her caregivers. Jane was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Stone City Post #2199 in Joliet, IL. She retired from Will-DuPage Service where she worked as a secretary. Funeral Services for Jane Knowles will be Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. a the funeral home chapel. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
