Obituary of Karl Kohl

Karl D. Kohl Age 55. Passed away suddenly, August 5, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center emergency room. Born October 1, 1953 in Joliet to the late Merwin and Elsie (nee Seehafer) Kohl. He was an electrician for ComEd/Exelon for 37 years, and was a member of the IBEW Local #15. He loved to cook and entertain, and spend time with his family and friends. Survived by his wife, Betty (nee Pavlich) Kohl; three sons, Douglas (Lori), Ryan (Lauren) and Kent; one granddaughter, Olivia; and Stella on the way; two brothers, Merwin "Butch" (Connie) and Paul (Nancy) Kohl; one sister, Susan (Bill) Pierce; and his dog, Stoli. Also survived by his wife's family, James (Marilou) Pavlich, Louis (Donna) Pavlich and Jean (late Robert) Thom; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends. A Memorial Gathering for Karl D. Kohl will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 7-10 p.m. at The Fountains, 502 Twin Rails Drive, Minooka, IL 60447. Arrangements by: FRED C.
