Obituary of Nora Kohl

Kohl, Nora E. Age 95. Peacefully Monday, August 29, 2011 at Salem Village Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wilton Center, IL and a lifelong Joliet area resident. A long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and St. Patrick Neighborhood Association. Preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Kohl (2002); parents, Henry and Nora McConloague; two sisters, her twin Mary Ann Chisholm, and Cecelia McConloague. Survived by three daughters, Mary Ellen (Jim) Bell of Napa, CA, Maureen Bennington of Orange, CA and Kathleen Kohl of Joliet; four sons, Daniel of Crest Hill, Raymond (Carol) of Lockport, Ronald (Jane) of Channahon, and Keith Kohl of Long Beach, CA; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one niece, and two nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Nora E. Kohl will be Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated. Visitation Friday 4-7 p.m. at: FRED C.
