Obituary of Timothy Baranski

Timothy John Baranski "Tim" Age 38. At rest Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Silver Cross Hospital, following a four month battle with brain cancer. Born in Joliet, September 21, 1971, to Jeffrey and Phyllis (nee Herron) Baranski, he was a lifelong resident. Member of the Rivals and Ingalls Park Baseball Leagues. A graduate of Joliet Central High School Class of 1989, where he played football all four years. An avid euchre player, Cubs and Bears fan, and a member of Zobel's Pool League. Survived by his loving parents; three brothers, Mark (Carol) of Joliet, Matthew (Jamie) of Coal City and Joseph Baranski of Joliet; dear uncle of Melynda and Trevor; maternal grandfather, Mitchell (Pearl) Herron of Tennessee; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Gray; paternal grandparents, Henry and Shirley Baranski; and two uncles, Gregory Baranski and Paul "Mickey" Herron. Funeral Services for Timothy John Baranski will be Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Karl Hess officiating. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
