Obituary of Jestin Kwarta

Jestin A. Kwarta "Jess" Age 85. Suddenly Monday, March 23, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, following open heart surgery two weeks ago. A graduate of Joliet Township High School. He was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps veteran. Retired from Sayer Fabricating as a design engineer. Formerly employed by Universal Lockport Corporation. Preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Helen Kwarta; one brother, Robert Kwarta; and one sister, Virginia Bebar. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marie M. (nee Hanke) Kwarta of Joliet; and one son, Justin Kwarta of Joliet; cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Jestin A. Kwarta will be Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
